Matthew Daughtry-Grubbs

Executive Director

Matthew Daughtry‑Grubbs has spent his life connected to Cragmont, growing up as a missionary kid and pastor’s kid and becoming a third‑generation worker on the mountain. He holds a B.S. in Religion with a minor in Music from Mount Olive College and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. Before becoming Executive Director in January 2020, Matthew served as a children’s and youth director and as a school counselor, experiences that shaped his heart for discipleship, hospitality, and Christ‑centered community. He and his wife, Amy, have been married since 2007 and are raising seven wonderful children who now represent the fourth generation of their family serving at Cragmont.
